De-metallization

Demetallization is a feature that is used to enhance the security and the aesthetics of a hologram or any metallized label. Normal holographic labels are fully metallized. Our demet technology allows us to selectively remove the metal from such metallized substrates and make them transparent from wherever the metal has been removed. As a result, specific texts or patterns can appear as transparent feature within an overall metallic label. We can create a simple window or even intricate fine line patterns and texts that are secure, and make it easy for the consumer to identify them.

We can offer this feature on hot stamping foils also where the fine text and patterns becomes an attractive and secure design element.
