Machine Based Verification

We learnt early on that a truly secure solution is multi layered, and we hence are always focused on increasing the verification options amongst the covert and forensic layer of features.

The machine based verification is a feature that allows a verification without any human intervention except to use the simple hand held instrument.

Holoflex provides this feature in the hologram as a holographic element where a hidden image reflects when a laser pointer is flashed in a certain area. Such hidden images may be static or animated, and can be one channel or two channels.

The machine based feature may also be provided in a specified area in the label. A special reader is placed in the specified area, and the button is pressed. In case of a positive verification the reader may respond in one of these three ways:

• A green light will flash
• A beep sound will be heard
• A custom audio message will playback
